Some set statistical indicators are then to be taken as a reference point. Over/under betting is a fantastic way to engage with sports because it turns the game into a kind of story – will it be an offensive showcase or a defensive duel? As we’ve seen, the total is influenced by everything from team strategy and player talent to weather forecasts and betting market psychology.

Squad rotation, late fitness tests, suspensions and last-minute tactical calls can reshape a match before a ball is kicked. Rather than leaving supporters to piece together fragments from scattered sources, the platform consolidates expected starting elevens, injury news and team news into a single, consistent view for each fixture. Total bets are especially effective in live betting.

• While the broad stereotyping will make you throw up in your mouth a little bit, it’s hard not to laugh at the silliness of it all.

Total betting is a separate and huge type of betting. You do not need to predict the winner there, which is the key “trick” of this type of betting. The three-way total bet may also be an individual total bet, calculated similarly to the standard one.

„Total Over” or the „TO” bet here means a bet wagered on the quantitative outcome of a certain event exceeding the selected result. Let’s take the number of goals in a football match and the total bet of „TO 2.5”. This outcome implies that 3 or more goals are to be scored in the match.

What is a Total Bet (over/under) bet?#

Eidos might be saying this isn’t GTA, but the parallels are impossible to ignore – it’s like TO is a tribute band to GTA’s headline act. You can see how the developer has tried to remove anything too GM-like as it went along – the variations in cars are way down, the sizes of each city area feel far smaller, no in-car radio stations. And there are the GTA-style cityscapes implausibly filled with car stunt ramps. And over there are all the impromptu kill-a-thon bonus missions. And to your left are all the thumping real-world tunes. And behind those boxes is the morally dubious attitude to extreme ultra-violence.

I spent so much time playing this game when it first came out. It’s the only game that I’ve ever played the demo and gone straight out to buy.Firstly, though, I can’t really recommend it if you’re after a GTA game. The open world bits are probably the worst part of the game. The physics and car handling are a bit janky, and while there is some fun to be had, overall the open city doesn’t do a whole lot for the game.It comes into its own once you’re in a mission, though. Running up walls, sliding down poles, taking out enemies with your car door before leaping from the vehicle for a few more slow-motion kills… This is a really fun game. The controls are obviously console-centric, but they work well enough on a PC.

A total, also called an over/under, is a type of bet where you wager on the combined score of both teams—regardless of who wins the game. This article explains how totals work, how to read total lines, and how sportsbooks price them. A total (over/under) bet is one of the most common wagers in sports betting. The sportsbook sets a predicted total score for a game, and you choose whether the actual combined score of the two teams will go over that number or under it. The price established on one or other is a function of how competitive or talented each side is — independently and based on the particular matchup.

What are Moneyline Odds? (types + how they work)

Put simply, the bookmakers will assign a certain price that they think accurately reflects what it should cost the bettor to pick either side of the total combined units totalover being wagered on in the game. The closer the price is to “-110” (in American oddsmaking), the closer the number is in terms of competitive balance. When it gets into the -115 to -120 range, it means there is more betting on one side, and there is the potential for the units offered to move in a direction that resets the competitive balance of the bet.

You can also steal hats from people who get angry about it and shoot you. With this software, you will always find a value bet or a high-percent surebet in your favorite bookmakers, because the scanner analyzes the lines by more than 200 most popular bookmakers in 40+ sports. BetBurger is the best surebet service finely attuned to your needs. You can bet on the total both in pre-match and live modes. Usually, the bookies accept overtime bets only for the main time of the match, however, in certain cases, you can bet on the entire match, including overtime.

Totals in Different Sports (with Examples)

Paying attention to line movement on totals can give you clues. There are main story missions that involve a DEA agent, his brother, crooked agents, drug deals, and gangsters. They’re long and detailed, with varied objectives, though they mostly involve shooting a whole lot of people. Other missions test your skills at shooting and/or driving; depending on how well you do you get different bonuses, including some completely whacked-out power-ups that are Carmageddon-level weird. It’s in the same ballpark as San Andreas, though it’s smaller in scale and lacks the polish of Rockstar’s bigger budget epic.

Over/Under betting: What is it, how it works and best strategies for betting totals

Though the controls in Total Overdose are somewhat klunky, getting too hung up on the flaws of Total Overdose misses its greatest pleasures. Unlike most games, you get a sense that its creators had as much making it as you’re having playing it. And when the Latin-flavored hip-hop and metal mariachi music kicks in after you turn into a Mexican wrestler spouting Spanish gibberish, you realize you have no idea where it’s going next. Something weird is about to happen, and more often than not, it does, which sums up Total Overdose quite nicely. Rather than run around and find missions in the town, you call them up from a menu, a time-saving feature other games in this genre would be wise to rip-off. There are also tons of save points littered throughout, and you can usually find one in the middle of some of the particularly long story missions.

There’s far less for you to do in the city (no non-mission 'life' stuff) – the idea being to distance itself from GTA at every stage.Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite come off that way. Instead you constantly feel as though you’re merely playing a cut-down version of GTA, regardless of the developer’s intention. The feel of the game constantly gives you that urge to go off exploring midmissions, but the limitations in size and variety ultimately make it feel something of a wasted effort. Another feature that’s remained under lock-and-key until now is the sandbox-y town that you can traverse, if you so choose, in between levels and challenges.

The IT bets are being calculated in the same way as the total bets. The calculation takes into account the individual performance indicators of either Real Madrid or Barcelona, but not the final score. What does Asian Total Mean

It is developed and presented by the Dead Line Games. The Total Overdose is a game based on the character named Ram Cruz. The main character has to take revenge for the murder of his father. But it has a lot of other features which make this game a unique one. The best thing about this game is that the gangs are trying to stop this character to reach his goals. All the maps and locations introduced in this game look alot like the sand areas of mexico.

How does an overtime game impact over/under bets?

This is a type of bet on Total, which is split into two Totals. It can be distinguished by the numerical parameter of Total, which must be a multiple of 0.25. For example “Total Over 1.25 goals” or “Asian Total Under 1.75”.

Do totals or over/under prices differ from one sportsbook to another?

This figure is satisfactory, but the bettor is unlikely to be able to make a decent profit. If you think that TO 1.5 odds are too low, then TO 2 bets would be perfect for you. In fact, the risk remains the same, but the odds would be much higher. Pinnacle bookmaker often does not separate Asian and simple (European) totals, but records everything in one group, the only difference here is the numerical Total Parameter, multiple of 0.25. Distribution of winnings also occurs separately for each of these bets, if one wins and the other loses – the win will be credited only for the won bet. The Asian Total bet amount will be divided into equal parts and distributed over the two bets received.

Derivative & Prop Totals: Team Totals, Halves, Quarters, and More

Have you ever wanted a game combining Max Payne, GTA, with a pinch of Prince of Persia, Robert Rodriguez’s movies, acrobatic moves and non-stop action? You are in the right place.Okay, let me start with the obvious – the graphics. They are bad, even in 2005, when the game came out, they were ugly. Other not-so-good thing is the sound design, especially the guns.

The basic requirements for choosing a match are the same, the only thing is that you need to pick up a team that has scored at least three goals in the last three or four matches. The Total Over 0.5 strategy is aimed to find matches in which opponents as a rule play effectively. Most bettors use this strategy for live due to the juicier odds.

Even the people in the streets responds to your action. So it is a more like of a lively game and gives a more realistic look. You are able to enjoy all features of this game after Total Overdose Free Download. Totals are lower in sports like baseball and hockey. Most totals sit between six and seven, though some can push double-digits. However, these are not the lowest totals across sports.

Few betting enthusiasts dare to bet on Total Over 4.5. Even professional gamblers try to avoid bets above TO 3.5, as 5 goals per match is not such a common event in football. In turn, bookmakers often offer overstated odds on TO 4.5, since such events are not in demand. They will adjust based on the bets people are placing (“action”), especially bettors that a bookmaker knows to be “sharper” (well informed).

What is a Total Bet in sports betting?

The most important difference between Asian total and simple total is in the numerical parameter of the bet. Asian total has a parameter multiple of 0.25 and is split into two totals. Thus, when betting on Asian Total, we can lose, return half of the bet, or win.

Parlaying is generally not advised because your chances of winning are lowered and sportsbooks do not offer the correct corresponding odds to the true implied probability, but you can parlay over/under bets. An over/under, or total, is the combined score of each team in a game. For example, let’s say the total for the opening game of the 2026 NFL season between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots is 46.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Bettors could wager on the Over or Under, predicting whether the combined score of the game would exceed 46.5.

Such betting method allows bettors to take into account more outcomes and circumstances during the sporting events, making betting more interesting and strategic. Basically, the Asian total is considered a quarter betting. Wagering on over/unders, also known as totals, is common in sports betting.

• The open world bits are probably the worst part of the game.
• In TO you have adrenalin bar, for slowing down time and more accurate shot, just like Max Payne.

Over/Under bets are a popular choice among sports bettors as they often provide an enjoyable way to bet on games without having to pick a side. It allows for a rooting interest in the game’s scoring, regardless of which team is ahead. For example, in a football game, if the Over/Under is set at 47.5, and the final score is 28-21, the total points scored is 49. If you predict that the teams only stick to one goal, or even a end a game in a blank tie, then it may be more correct to choose the Under 2.25 event. Here, one is to get either the maximum win (0–1 goals), or a partial payback (TU 2.0) and a win (TU 2.5) with two goals scored, or a loss (3 goals or more).

My favorite is the pinata. The story is okay, the voice acting is okay, with few exceptions. Our hero Ramiro is wise cracking and have some good one-liners in his sleeve. The biggest problem with this game is, it doesn’t offer a lot of new things. This is the third time I play it and the thing which make me comeback is the insane, silly action.

As is the case when betting, make sure you understand what you are making a wager on. There are totals for the game, but sportsbooks also offer team totals and player props, which are graded similarly with an Over and Under. If two teams with potent offenses are playing each other and neither team has a strong defense, it’s likely to be a high-scoring game. While oddsmakers will set the total accordingly because they also have this information, it’s important to know the numbers.

There’s also a host of checkpoint-based driving mini-games that’ll hopefully help break up the carnage. So, onto the action – and believe me, there’s plenty of it. Total Overdose simply haemorrhages carnage, action and gratuitous violence, offset by some outrageously eccentric and devastatingly effective special moves called Loco Moves. Barrels explode, Mexicans die and points are delivered for style – which in turn gifts you extra health and Loco Moves such as Desperado-style machine guns in guitar cases or one-shot-kill golden guns. Well, it’s looking increasingly like Total Overdose will prove to be part of the latter camp – with the caveat that we’ve only played four of the 20 levels, so the old 'variety' chestnut may yet loom large. If the teams score three goals or more, the TO bet (2.5) hits. And, vice versa, two or less goals result in the win of the TU bet (2.5). The Total Over 3.5 strategy has no much difference from the previous one, except that odds and number of goals should be higher.

Once an interesting app or game is found our editor will test it to get a better understanding of its features, possibilities and limitations. Usually commercial software or games are produced for sale or to serve a commercial purpose. Saints Row was not an attempt to copy the Grand Theft Auto series – it had far more in common with the excellent Total Overdose.

Asian totals are best suited for events with lots of goals/points. You are wagering on how many total points both teams will score in the contest. Pro baseball totals are typically around nine runs in a game. Pro basketball totals are usually around 220 points. Pro hockey games usually have a total around six goals.

Solitary playing is also an option if you don’t want multiple players. Before you begin looking for the enemy, you want to explore Los Angles as this is where you’re based. There are numerous tasks to complete that will give you points that can then be used to upgrade your character and your weapons. In the aforementioned El Clasico, you could wager bets on separate performance indicators of either Real Madrid or Barcelona. The 2.5 goal football outcome is considered the classic and most popular “reference point” in the pre-match detailed breakdown.

Hidden until now due to fears of unfair GTA comparisons (unfair since it’s far more reminiscent of the wide open everything-is-a-grinding-surface arenas of Tony Hawk), it’s another avenue for point-claiming. The flippancy of the game is very much on show here too, with mini-games like a blood bath in which all the pedestrians turn into versions of something similar to the skeletal Manny from Grim Fandango. The heavy use of chickens and exploding pihatas in the game proper also goes some way to boosting the silliness factor. Will it stick a cactus up the backside of third-person action-adventures? If we can avoid the tequila, we might just be able to provide the answer… Stay ahead of the betting markets with The Steam Report – your monthly digest of advantage betting insights, industry news, and user results from the sharpest minds in betting.
